Now, some brands are taking a cue from the fashions of the 1920s, when fashion designers experimented with a new way to enhance a wearer’s appearance by placing an eye-mask or other object under the brow, then applying mascara.
One brand, orogolds, makes a series of eye-coverings for women that are made with a plastic material called micro-plastic that is not just opaque, but also flexible.
The glasses are meant to be worn for 10 to 15 minutes and look natural but are also a good option for daytime wear.
The brand, which has offices in London and New York, is also known for its wearable, eye-wear, and is known for making an eye makeup accessory that is worn around the eye, as opposed to a face cover.
The eyewash, called the “faux eyeliner” and sold in a variety of colors, is meant to help the wearer blend into the environment, according to the brand’s website.
In addition to eye-gluing, oroold is also making earrings that use micro-polyurethane earrings to cover the earlobe.
These earrings are made from a polymer that is water-resistant, flexible and easy to clean.
The earrings come in multiple colors and have different shapes and sizes, but they’re meant to complement the wearer’s style, according the brand.
