The first lady of the United States has been hit by a coupon-spiking scandal, as she’s been accused of being a repeat consumer who’s used up her $30 worth of MAC cosmetics.
In an interview with The Wall St. Journal, Melania Trump said she “can’t believe” she spent $50 on cosmetics.
She also told the newspaper that she “will be spending the rest of my money on cosmetics” next month, and the price has risen since then, even if she doesn’t remember it.
“I can honestly say that I did not spend any of that money on MAC cosmetics,” she said.
“I can understand that there are some people who do buy MAC cosmetics, but I can’t really understand the behavior of those people.”
She added: “The problem is, there are so many people who are buying them, and there are many more people who don’t.
And I’m sure I’m not the only one who has been in that situation.”

Her husband, President Donald Trump, has been criticized for his frequent use of cosmetics.
Last year, the president was accused of spending $20 on MAC Cosmetics after he tweeted that he used the product on his face for the first time.
